This is a fantastic learning tool for initial mastery of the times tables up through 12 x 12.

Slide the monkey's toes to any two numbers you'd like to multiply, and his hands move to place his ring around the answer!

Even for adults, this thing is captivating. You keep playing with it "just to see" if the monkey will come up with the right answer (which of course it always does).

My first question was "how do you set it for, say, 12 x 12?"

Answer: to mulitply any number by itself, put one toe by the number and the other toe by the "square" located to the right of the 12.

Get it? You're "squaring" the number. SUPER!
