Very cool home planetarium unit. The bright halogen bulb projects stars & planets onto your ceiling and walls. For best viewing, you really need a room with untextured, uniformly colored walls and ceiling.

There is a directional compass built into the base, and the unit can be set to accurately display the sky according to the season, month, day, and hour.

You can listen to a guided tour of the skies with the included audio CD (CD Player not included) and use the Meteor Maker to project your own shooting stars into the sky. The Meteor Maker also includes a neat Halley's Comet Slide.
