Young Scientists Club Adventure Science Series: Chemistry Blast!

GREAT KIT! PLEASE NOTE: Only the "Sticky Ice 2" Experiment procedure needs some tweaking. As written, you lay a piece of thread over an ice cube, salt it, and then lift the ice by the thread. This nearly never works. Our solution: Lay the thread over the ice, add the salt, and then use a second ice cube to "sandwich" the thread between both cubes. With practice, this method will enable you to lift the ice by the thread.

TIP:The included dropper comes shipped with the bulb pushed down on the tube itself, for compactness. Before using, be sure and slide the bulb back to the end of the tube and that it fits snugly.

The kit finishes with Young Scientists using test tubes, filter paper, and a funnel to separate a mixture of materials and making an explosion that will excite any budding scientist.
